Dawwr (and the Dawwr Merchant app) respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
Data we collect
- Account data: name and email to create your account and sign in.
- Location: to show the nearest repair workshops and merchants (used only while using the app).
- Content you submit: request details, photos, voice notes attached to a service request, and chat messages.
- Device identifier: to send notifications about offers and replies to your requests.
How we use it
- Operate the service and connect you with relevant workshops, technicians and merchants.
- Show offers and replies and enable chat communication.
- Send notifications related to your requests and account.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
- We do not use data from our apps (customer and merchant apps) for any advertising tracking across other companies' apps.
Ad measurement on the website
On the dawwr.net website only (not inside the apps) we use Meta's measurement tool (Meta Pixel) to understand how our Facebook and Instagram ads perform, such as visits and accounts created from an ad. It uses cookies and sends Meta information about the pages you open on the website; we do not include your name, phone number or request details. You can block it in your browser's privacy settings or in your Facebook ad preferences.
On dawwr.net only (not in the apps) we also use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure our Google ads, e.g. visits and accounts created or requests posted from an ad. It uses cookies and sends Google the pages you open; we don't send your name, phone number or request details. You can manage this at adssettings.google.com.
Data sharing
When you submit a service request, its details are shown to relevant merchants and technicians so they can send offers and contact you. We use technical service providers (hosting and storage) solely to operate the app.
Account & data deletion
You can delete your account from within the app or website (Profile, then Delete account), or request deletion of your account and data anytime at [email protected].
